laugh

I can knit my own bib, thank you very much. (Yes, I actually can knit. Though it's been a couple years so I'm not sure if I remember..)

I was at a resteraunt. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but I don't think the waitress understood me. Cuz she said "how would you like your eggs?". So I tried to answer her anyhow, I said incubated, and then raised, and then beheaded, and then plucked, and then cut up, and then put on a grill, and then put on to a bun. that's cool that you can knit. =) I think it's one of those things that you don't totally forget how to do. I taught myself from books many years ago and then picked it up again a couple years ago. now I've always got 1 or 2 or 5 projects going. no bibs though.

anyway, Patty. Smiley I get to see her play next month!

Well, I remember how to knit and perl, but not much beyond that. Like how to cast on/off.

well, if you ever have an occasion to take up knitting again, relearning how to cast on/off probably won't be difficult. =) everything in knitting is basically knit or purl or some variation thereof. since there are different kinds of cast ons and cast offs, I sometimes have to look up how to do the one I want.

Here's my drooling, gushing fanboy rave, which can only be qualified as a review in the very loosest sense of the word. Thom Jurek's All Music review is just as enthusiastic, and substantially more intelligent.

I'm loving this album, too.  I think it has a little something for everyone at the phorum - how many albums can you say that about?

It is entirely possible that, if you don't like this album, you are in fact a robot.

Unfortunately, seeing as I have dial-up, I'm thinking it'll be toward the end of this year before I earn any invites.  Maybe Josh can ysi.

I had an account ages ago when I was a newbie to torrents, and I got banned for cheating. :/

Do they ever reset their bans?

I'm not really sure if they do or not, but if it's showing up on Oink's, it won't be long before it's around elsewhere.

I found a bunch too but they were all fake. Two of them were real MP3s, but they were all from her old albums.

Three or four of them were fake torrents. Peergaurdian pervented me from connecting to the tracker, but I was able to download them via DHT but everybody got stuck at right at 93% or something. And it was a RAR. All the signs of a fake torrent.

I guess they do reset their bans Smiley Someone invited me and I got back in.

Got the album, and am listening to it now.

Yeah, believe it or not, they do still SELL actual compact discs. And this one is well, well worth it.

If you want to preview before buying, you can go to rhapsody.com and listen to the whole album. I believe you can listen to 20 tracks in one month for free.

I went to B&N after work and bought the cd with the extra tracks. because of computer issues, I won't be able to rip the tracks to mp3 until this weekend. if anybody could help me out, I'd appreciate it muchly. that way I can load up my ipod and listen at work tomorrow.

never mind--I think I found a good download.

Wow. Since my computer has been broke I've had nothing better to do than to listen to music all day off my iPod, and this is an ablum I keep coming back to. It's amazing. Everything (the other) Josh said about this album is true Wink

I don't think there is a song I don't like on the whole CD.

apparently itunes has an exclusive track, Moon Song (which I heard on a concert recording and lovelovelove). and apparently it's only available if you purchase the whole album through itunes. I got it from some folks who were trading the B&N exclusive tracks for the itunes track and man, does it make me a bad fan if my favorite from this album is one that isn't officially on it?
