Any Waterdeep fans? Anyone even heard of them?

I love Waterdeep and I have for years. I first heard them live at a youth conference I was at in 2000 and since then, I've thought they were great. I'm not a huge worship music fan but I really enjoy their worship albums. They have a great talent in writing worship music that isn't simply a bunch of cliches thrown together. I've yet to hear the solo albums of Don and Lori but I hope to eventually. I'm sure they'll be great, as well.

I am. I've been a fan for about 6 years (wow, I can't believe that). I still firmly believe that Sink or Swim is their masterpiece, and none of their other work truly lived up to it, though there are amazing songs scattered here and there among their many other albums.

Is anyone here going to their farewell to touring shows at the New Earth at the end of the month?

I've heard a fwe songs here and there. I really liked "Wicked Web" and their cover of Van Morrison's "Wherever God Shines His Light".

Actually, I've always thought that the Van Morrison cover was one of the weaker tracks on that album. But you're right about "Wicked Web"-- that song ROCKS! Lori's voice is well-suited for that kind of snarling, high-energy rock song.
