Anyone have plans to catch this one? The James Bond parody idea has been done before, but this one looks pretty funny. I dunno, I might have to see it sometime...

Ever since I first saw the trailer, I was laughing. It looks very well-done and hilarous (if mindless). I don't know whether I'll catch it or not (my huge list of movies I want to see is waging war against my mall amounts of free time...), but when it comes out on DVD I might grab it for an evening.

I plan to see it sometime... Perhaps this week. I am going on vacation to my grandparents house, and will need things to do. Either Jonny English, League of Extrordinary Gentlemen, or Pirates again...

Mmmhmmm, Bean is hysterical, and Atkinson stole the show from a cast full of comedians in Rat Race.

Either Jonny English, League of Extrordinary Gentlemen, or Pirates again... I hope to see it as well, though Pirates will come first! I want to see LXG just to hear Sean Connery say "That was naughty!" again. For some reason, I think that's a great line

Fair enough. To clarify, the previews didn't leave me with the impression that it was a meaningful film, by any stretch of the imagination. But there's a category of films that I call "see it and forget it" comedy, and I think Johnny English is probably a good example of this.

I saw it today, and it was mostly what I expected. Several funny scenes, a few not-so-funny scenes, ultimately not that memorable. It was amusing, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, but, having said that, I would have probably had more fun at a second screening of Pirates.
