Wow... I knew Iona was working on a new DVD, but I had no idea there were actually FOUR DVDs in the works!  =D

From their newly-updated Web site:

"2005 will also see our first DVD releases, with several in the pipeline. First off the blocks will be:

'Iona', which is a half hour documentary on the band originally filmed and released on video (but long since deleted) back in 1990 /91. This catches up with Dave, Jo, Frank and co-founder David Fitzgerald as the musicians contemplated ideas for a follow up to the debut Iona album. Featuring location footage from the beautiful Scottish islands of Mull and Iona as well as some vintage live footage from one of the band's first ever gigs, this is a must for all Iona completists. Due out in December or January.

'The Eye of the Eagle' - delayed because of production hold ups, this beautifully shot document of David Fitzgerald and Dave Bainbridge's 1998 collaboration, filmed by Anglia TV, features concert footage from the works premier at Norwich Cathedral as well as in depth interview footage. Originally released on video but deleted several years ago, the DVD version includes additional footage not seen before. Expected early 2005

Also currently in production is a 'Voiceprint Retrospective Series' Iona DVD, which will feature interview and archive footage not previously released and promises to be an excellent overview of the band's history for those new to Iona's music. And of course the 'Iona - Live in London' DVD will be available early in the new year - so if you haven't already booked tickets to be there on 18th November, you still have time!"

Nothing about a new album? I thought they were working on one of those, too.
