A brief but urgent prayer request: A man who lives a few houses up from me shot himself yesterday, leaving behind goodbye notes to his wife and mother. Please keep them and the rest of his family in prayer.

I hate these stories. But I'll pray for those who hafta deal with reality of them.

You know - if all people that were about to commit suicide thought of short true stories like these - wouldn't fewer do it? I hope for hope.

I tried to say the right things in the right way, but  simple silence is the only way to conclude my attempt.

Ponderings and then restatements from both sides will cause more of the same.

So remember: Stan, yes, this man, gave his best and is leaving it up to you and Him to do the rest.

I concur; stories like these are always tragic. I will remember this poor man's family in my prayers.

prayer confuses me, that said, i will most definately pray.  my heart goes out to them... suicide is so rough.. i lost a very close family member to suicide awhile back and can testify that it is one of the hardest things to have to deal with... changed my life forever... man i wish i could give them all a hug...

My heart goes out to them, and I'm here to pray too.
