Recently, at the A&F board, we have started participating in board-wide Bible studies, where we select a book (Romans, in this case), post the text of the first chapter, discuss and analyze it for a while, and then move on to the next chapter, etc.

Would anybody be interested in doing something similar here?

If there are enough who are interested in participating, we can begin discussing which book we will study and then go for it.

So tell me... would you actively participate in a Phorum Bible study?

Normally I'd be interested, but generally I only read the phorum during breaks at work. I have time to read the new posts and compose a few pithy replies, but not really enough time to dig deep into the word. When I'm at college, though, I'd be glad to participate.

I would read it and try to participate if I have something to say and time to say it.

I'm pretty busy now, but I'll particupate when I can. I think it could be very interesting or maybe even a little life changing  to see what everyone has to say Smiley

Go for it.

Sounds like it's worth a shot, then. We'll try it out and see how many pholks participate.

Next question: Which book of the Bible should we start with?

Wish I had time for it.  Between two Bible studies per week at church, preaching duties every few weeks, and personal studies, it would be tough to squeeze in.  I might chime in from time to time if I can, though.

it's like God himself is coming home to say:
"I, I can do anything, if you want me here.
and I can fix anything, if you'll let me near.
where are those secrets now (that you're just scared to tell)?
I'll whisper them all aloud so you can hear yourself."
