thanks for the welcome, and I will agree that The Eleventh Hour has the most bland production of any of the albums song-writing-wise...Much Afraid is catchier.  Much Afraid is the only album I don't have (except for the new one...whats that one called?), so maybe I just haven't listened to it enough.

I found out today that "The White Elephant Sessions" goes for about $40 US on ebay.  Yikes!

I only own The Eleventh Hour and Furthermore (which I bought mostly for the song 'Needful Hands').  I'm planning on getting Much Afraid next...so many albums, so little cash!  =D

Furthermore is a must-have for Jars enthusiasts, though the engineering on the live disc is inexcusabely poor. Ah, well, at least it doesn't give me flashbacks of middle school chapel services like Eleventh Hour did.

Two threads in a row of Eleventh Hour bashing... hmm. I should probably stop now and point out that "Silence" and "Something Beautiful" are two of their best songs EVER, and the closing trilogy is solid, so don't think I hate the record, or anything. It's just too youth-groupy for a serious band like Jars.
