I bought this album today and really, really enjoy it. This is some good old-fashioned soul music, without even the slightest hint of the gloss and sheen that permeate most pop music these days.

I listened to clips at Barnes & Noble on Tuesday night. Wow, this sounds like something I need to get. It reminded me a little of something Robert Randolph might put out.
I'm surprised Andree didn't come across this one, and I would definitely second Josh's recommendation in the "Albums that talk about God" thread.
