I'm looking for albums that make mention of God or have references to Christianity.
Any genre. They have to be from this year.
They can't be CCM.

They can't be CCM. Would this be determined by the label distributing the artist?

Darn. That's what happens when you only read the thread title.
Y'all pretty well covered it then. I'll just add They Were Wrong, So We Drowned by the Liars. Seeing as it is about the witchcraft trials in medieval Germany, they have had some things to say about God and religion but it's more subtext than outright.

Iron & Wine, Our Endless Numbered Days
Makes reference to God several times, but the context is often a bit fuzzy. Not sure if this is the kind of thing you're looking for.

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:
Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.
Chuck Norris can divide by zero.
Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

Sam Phillips' album, of course, has all kinds of spiritual subtext, but I don't think it ever directly references Christ or Christianity.

I think CT already covered Kanye...
It might be a stretch, but Ryan Cabrera is a possibility. In the liner notes thank-you's, he writes, "first and foremost, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, even when I don't deserve it, your love saves me." He also thanks the Oasis Christian Center later on...
With the music, he has one song the seems to be directly about God (On the Way Down), as the "you" in the lyrics is capitilized. A few other songs (Blind Sight, Illusions, Take it All Away) seem to hint at God or spiritual things...Of course, on a few other songs, he gets a little John-Mayer-Your-Body-is-a-Wonderland-ish. Like I said, it's a stretch, but you can look into it more.
Oh, he also says Shane Barnard is his favorite singer.

Ollabelle-- Ollabelle This one is being distributed to the Christian Market as we speak... Is it really? Hmmmm... I hope Ollabelle doesn't get pidgeonholed as a CCM band. It's cool that they're getting distributed there, though, I suppose; hopefully the CCM crowd will be taking notes.

Do they have to be modern albums?
On Stevie Wonder's Fullingness' First Finale, there's a song called "Heaven is 10 Zillion Light Years Away" that is actually cool, and somewhat surprising because Wonder is not a Christian (from what I've read, heard, and otherwise). For that matter Songs in the Key of Life references God to. "Have a Talk with God" immediately comes to mind.
Lauryn Hill's Miseducation and MTV Unplugged double disc both reference God many times, especially the latter. She is a Christian, as far as I know.
