The "Can't Stop" video is my favorite. Dv reminds me of that video, and the video reminds me of Dv. Let's just say it involves Dv wearing a poncho while we were camping...

I like that video as well, but please note that I look nothing like  Anthony Kiedis.

No. And neither do you run around with your shirt off, thank goodness.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication" is also a pretty cool video. The whole thing looks like a video game.

I've been on an Alanis Morissette kick lately. I've always loved her "Precious Illusions" video, and her latest, "Eight Easy Steps", ties together scenes from her older videos in increasingly humorous ways.

The Barenaked Ladies also did the "Let's tie together all of our old videos and make it look like we're singing our current song" thing for "Thanks That Was Fun", from their greatest hits project.

Anyone know of any other videos that did that?

NP: "Your Congratulations", Alanis Morissette

some of my favorites:

The Smashing Pumpkins - "Tonight Tonight"
(the tribute to Meiles' short film "A Trip to the Moon").  As pretty as they come.

Kenna - "Hell Bent"
I like claymation

A-ha - "Take On Me"
Cheesy, but I love the effects in this one.

Nine Inch Nails - "Closer"
Suitably dark and f-ed up.

U2 - "One"
U2 in drag gets me every time.

Radiohead - "Karma Police"
Creepy.

Pearl Jam - "Do the Evolution"
The animation is slick.

Lauryn Hill - "Everything Is Everything"
Manhattan as a giant turntable.  Interesting.

Bjork - "It's Oh So Quiet"
You just have to see it.

I myself don't care much for music videos as a general rule, but I must confess that I do enjoy many of Radiohead's videos ("Go to Sleep," "Karma Police," "There There"), as well as U2's videos for "Beautiful Day" and "Numb."

Tool does some interesting stuff with Claymation. I've seen their videos for "Schism" and "Parabol/Parabola", and I enjoyed them, even if they were a slight bit disturbing.

Riley Armstrong's video for "Sleep" is also done in Claymation. That video cracks me up every time... especially during the second verse when the "guest star" appears.
