Hmmm... Pitchfork likes this band even better than the Furnaces. Anyone heard 'em?

Anyone heard 'em? AFAIK, this is their first album, and it doesn't come out until tommorrow, so I doubt many people have. =D EDIT: Yes, I have! HaHaHa! And so can you!

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:
Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.
Chuck Norris can divide by zero.
Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

Dude... I like their sound! So do I. I'm thinking this will be rather hard to find, though.

Hmmm... Pitchfork likes this band even better than the Furnaces. Maybe. We'll see at the end of the year. (The Shins "Chutes Too Narrow" got the top spot with a lower rating than The Wrens "The Meadowlands". Remember, reviews are only the opinion of the writer). I'm interested just based on the clips I heard at AMG.

Tiny Mix Tapes 5/5Where TMT and Pitchfork agree, they're rarely wrong.

Looked for the album at my favorite local music store today. Surprisingly, they didn't have it, but they should have it in stock by this weekend they said.

I'm listening right now, and it sounds pretty good. They have some nice tempo shifts mid-song that throw you for a loop. Just heard a guitar riff on "Wake Up" that sounded exactly like the one in "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" by Jet.
