Of the bands I have listened to for the first time recently, here is my ranking (the ] symbol means 'is greater than', of course):

Blondie ] Daft Punk ] Shinedown ] Dashboard Confessional

The albums I listened to for each were No Exit, Discovery, Leave a Whisper, and A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar respectively.

Comments? If you like Shinedown or DC, feel free to recommend albums of theirs that I might like better than the ones I sampled...

Yeah, I had heard of them before, and then when I was browsing LetsSingIt.com I saw that 'Vindicated' was one of the top 5 songs. So I thought I'd give one of their albums a spin. I was highly disappointed, which is why they're last on the list  =D
