THIS book has just shot to the tippy-top of my must-read list:

America: The Book, by the great Jon Stewart.

And I have to read it before the election.

I saw a copy last week. Tad expensive, but as soon as i can get one cheap....

I love The Daily Show. We need more news shows that actually are funny because they're trying to be. Really, the local news shows here are just as funny, but that's only because they do a laughable job.

"With a Forward by Thomas Jefferson"

Most excellent touch.

The sad thing that is, compared to other media outlets, The Daily Show is really pretty unbiased... hopefully, this book will follow suit.

Got this book over the weekend.

Funniest thing I've ever seen.

This is some great satire here pholks. Absolutely a scream. The humor here is sometimes a little sick, sometimes a little crass, but always hysterical.

The mock "textbook" style of the book is a masterstroke.

Stephen Colbert's blurb about the presidency of Warren G. Harding is, in a twisted way, the funniest thing I've heard in a long while. The foreward by Thomas Jefferson is great. And the page where they try to dispel popular myths about the founding fathers... genius.

This is the must-read book of the year, pholks. And yes... Jon Stewart is still my hero.

Jon plugs his book in an amusing little commercial on Amazon.com.
