I bought:

Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
The Verve - Urban Hymns
Blur - 13
Radiohead - Amnesiac

They'll be here anyday.  I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Peace out,
Andree

I like Amnesiac. Can't tell you much about the other three. But Amnesiac is a lot of fun to ponder and try to interpret, and it's got some killer songs on it ("Pyramind Song," "Life in a Glass House," and "You and Whose Army" are my favorites).

I'm guessing you're going to like those.  I haven't heard The Verve album through, though, but I like their songs I know, and Richard Ashcroft's solo stuff has even been pretty decent IMO.  13 and Amnesiac I think you'll either love or hate, but you won't be in-between on them.  13 is my personal favorite from that list.

Yeah good choices there...although I haven't heard much of the Verve. I agree with bloop that Amnesiac and 13 are pretty much an aquired taste but are very good. Rage's self titled is quite a gem as well.

I actually haven't heard any of those.  I have heard some Rage songs and liked them somewhat, though I haven't really found any hard rock that I really like.  Why was this a breakdown?  Totally new music for you, or what?

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.
