it's like God himself is coming home to say: "I, I can do anything, if you want me here. and I can fix anything, if you'll let me near. where are those secrets now (that you're just scared to tell)? I'll whisper them all aloud so you can hear yourself."

Right with what vast oil supplies that you have...... Oh right, not much. Did I say anything about domestic oil? There's only enough oil in ANWR to last 6 frickin' months. To quote my good friend Zach... "Alternative energy sources, baby!"

To quote my good friend Zach... "Alternative energy sources, baby!" Have you been to Pennsylvania yet? There is so much oil there to use..

It doesn't matter. Oil is a limited resource. We have to switch to renewables at some point in time. Better now than when we're in a time crunch.

I think most people agree that we need more alternative energy sources. However, it is much more difficult to get people to agree on how we should go about making the switch. Should the government require a certain percentage of energy produced to be alternative energy? Should we pull all government funding to fossil fuel energy, causing prices to skyrocket and forcing alternatives and conservation? I honestly have no idea.

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:
Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.
Chuck Norris can divide by zero.
Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

To put a spin, Regardless of anything you may or may not believe History has proven that with each new energy revolution [ and greater amounts of efficientcy at that] has come more wealth and I would make the case that increasing a. the efficientcy of the way we generate power, use oil, use any "source" for that matter will and can only help us.. and that the technology to get going exists today ...
Secondly , I don't think the oil companies have anything to loose but a short life.... As other countries start to become industrialized we have to as G8 countries and rather mature economic countries attempt to minimize our use of natural resources... in order to become more competitive... Fuel is cheap yes, but using sub par technologies once the need becomes more nessesary will be an issue..
I don't consider myself a greenpeace advocate [ in fact I think them wrong on alot of things] but they exist as an extreame to the other side of what their "opponents" do...
Cheers
