I'm not sure why I didn't post this sooner, but... my family really needs some prayer.

Some of you may know about my sister's mental health problems. For those who don't know, I'm not going to get into it right now, but suffice to say that she has some pretty major issues.

Anyway, she's basically had a total breakdown recently, and, last Friday, my pholks took her to a special mental hospital in Chatanooga, about an hour and a half away from where we live.

Initially, the plan was for them to drive down and visit her every day, and she was supposed to be home by Wednesday. But there have been a number of huge blunders made by the staff of the hospital, and, to make a long story short, she didn't even get to see a doctor until last night. Now, they're saying she won't be able to come home until Friday, and my mom went down there yesterday and will probably be there all week.

I'm obviously leaving out huge chunks of the story simply for the sake of time, but, if you could all say a prayer for me and my family, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, please forgive me for being a little short-tempered this week... I'm not in the best of moods, for obvious reasons, and for that I apologize.  =)

I'm sorry to hear that, Josh. Your family will definitely be in my prayers.

An update: Due to all the modifications made to her medication and soforth, my sister has been quite sick today. Your continued prayers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure that didn't help Christmas any, and I'm sorry I didn't see this until now. Your family and sister will be in my prayers. Be sure to tell your parents that they can call on us any time if they need help; even if it's just that your mom is too busy or too tired to cook one night we'd be glad to bring something over.

I hope she has adjusted to the meds.  I have family members that deal with anxiety and related disorders.  Actually, my brother is having a really tough time right now.  He's going to start seeing a counselor on Monday.   I'll remember your family in my prayers.

Thanks, Stacey. I'll return the favor by remembering your brother.

Welcome to the board, by the way. Great to have you in the community.  =)
