Dear Vlad!,

Being a college student myself, I know how difficult it is to leave your blazing fast Internet behind and return to the barren wasteland that is dial-up. I, as much as any human can, understand the pain and anguish that you are going through right now.

But that is no excuse, Vlad!, to abandon all your phriends at the Phorum. Yes, braving the 56k connection to come here is hard, but I think we're worth it.

Frankly, I find your disloyalty to be deplorable and abhorrent, and I, for one, am deeply offended.

Indeed. It's not just been my dislike of 56k (and AOL 56k, to add insult to injury) that keeps me away, though it's certainly part of it. Since I get to see my family so seldom when school is in session, I like to spend time with them rather than on the Internet. But I sill will pop in from time to time, as evidenced by this post.

My break ends the 16th, if I recall correctly, and I'll probably head back a couple days early. Just a couple more weeks of Vlad!lessness and then the pain will be over Wink
