As I was driving home, it was raining. Then, on the radio, U2's "Beautiful Day" came on and it stopepd raining. Shortly after it ended, though, the rain started again. Then it played Sheryl Crow's "Soak up the Sun" and the rain stopped again

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.

I, too, have had eerie experiences with songs and weather, most of them with REM's "I'll Take the Rain" or Radiohead's "Sit Down, Stand Up," which features 48 mentions of "the raindrops." =)

As long as he goes on with that, the amazing thing would be if it didn't start raining. And snowing. You'd be there all season.
