Dadgum, these guys are CRAZY this tour. Hard to believe last night was the first time "Until the End of the World" got played, and the first time "Vertigo" was the show opener.

it sure would be nice to see them on tour. "Until the End of the World" is one of my favorite U2 songs. i can't believe they've never done it in concert before.*

*edit* oh, the first time this tour.

I would imagine they did it a few times in 2002-2003, but it's not really an album track, and I don't think it was hugely popular, so it probably gets overlooked in most setlists. A shame, because that's one of my favorite U2 songs.

DirecTV is doing a FREEVIEW concert of that free show they did under the Brooklyn Bridge in November.  It's a really good program - it has about 7-8 songs and then footage of the band rolling down the street filming the "All Because of You" video.  They bring a few people up on the flatbed truck to perform.  One guys sings an opera song, and another guy plays the drums while they perform "I Will Follow."  Watching this has me freshly excited about the concert - too bad it's still seven friggin' months away.
