Here they are.

I am delighted beyond my wildest dreams... with the exception of Kate Winslett losing Best Actress, all of these awards turned out just as I had hoped they would. Million Dollar Baby for Best Picture, Eastwood for Best Director, Blanchett for Supporting Actress... never have the Oscars gotten it so very right!

One word for this year's Oscars: predictable.

Then again, I can't complain too much, since the utter predictability and dullness led to my winning $40 in the pool at the party. But still. *YAWN*

well, I had fun saying "I knew it!" to myself all evening. except that I was sure Aviator would get Best Picture, so I stared agape at the tv when MDB was announced.

I agree with this, but hey, congrats to the winners anyway.  I was like "Freeman's due"  *announces winner* "yup", etc. for the major awards.  I liked when "the Incredibles" character came out for costume design - that was cute.

For best dressed (what most people seem to care about the most), I'm going to have to go with Blanchett.

How about Sean Penn's response to Chris Rock's mockery of Hollywood...specifically Jude Law?  and Chris Rock's comeback...  Yikes.

LOL...Chris Rock's a good host, but I particularly liked him walking through the theater to see what the people thought was great movie.  heh..."White Chicks".  I believe Penn probably just felt obligated to defend Jude Law.

YES.  That was so great!!!!  I loved that...when he mentioned the Oscar nominated film, the people were like, "NO man"... but yeah, Chronicles of Riddick and White Chicks.  So funny.

He said something about his "financial guys" meaning the two huge bodyguard looking guys that came out at one point.  He said they would be coming to see Sean Penn or something like that.  It was funny, in a frightening sort of way.

I like Jude Law, but Sean Penn has no sense of humor.

oh yeah, and Edna Mode was one of my favorite parts of the show.

Yes, you do.

I didn't watch the broadcast, so I missed what sounds like a pretty entertaining show. Oh well, MDB won, and that's what I care about.
