I know we have a lot of college students on here but there are a few of us that are out of college and working fulltime.
For me, I'm working for ADT Security Services as a service coordinator.

I work at Chick-Fil-A currently, but am looking for something a little more interesting this summer.
I am currently attending Arapahoe Community College to finish off my high school(homeschooled up until my junior year). I plan on attending Colorado School of Mines this fall and majoring in either some sort of engineering discipline, or computer science.

I work at a factory that makes seatbelts. In the Fall, I will go Thomas Merton on everyone in my life, and enter a higher education institution that is very monastic. I don't wanna, but God is being quite emphatic about the matter. After that, I'm planning to go to Asbury Seminary.

I am a Special Handling Credit Officer for The CIT Group (NYSE: CIT). I analyze the creditworthiness and approve unsecured trade lines of credit for companies that fall under one of these catagories: 1) Operating in bankruptcy 2) Highly leveraged/history of net losses 3) High probability of loss on the account 4) Credit requests in excess of $5 million I've worked here since I graduated from college in 1998.

Almost exactly the same as Dv... cept Mines is my second choice as far as schools go, Denver University being my first (that will require a massive scholarship however. [_[ So Mines is definitely a possibility.). I work at CFA, go to ACC until I graduate end of this semester, and was homeschooled previously. My major will be Comp Sci if I go to Mines or Animation and Game Development at DU.

I am a mental case with a history of alleged (but unproven) homocidal activity. That's not all of the truth, but the rest doesn't sound as exciting.
Edit: I am a student at Bellevue Community College, concurrently enrolled in some local high school for financial purposes.

Question, what is the average cost of college in the states ? [community college that is] Per year.
In Canada college is 3000 approx, depends on program.
University ranges from 4500 to 10000 a year in a government institution, in a private university [like where I went last year.] It was 11 000

Believe it or not, a full year of tuition at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, where I went, was approximately $1,600 for in-state students. It was only slightly more at UNC-Chapel Hill. That was in 1998, though. The current rate there is about $3,800 for in-state and about $14,000 out-of-state.

The college I attend is about 27 thousand a year, though I only pay about 4 or 5 thousand of that. =) Thank God for scholarships and the state lottery!

Community Colleges: about $1800 USD or so total cost per year. Private Colleges: about $25,000-29,000 USD or so total cost per year.
Everything else can fall anywhere in between those numbers.

Thanks to the wonderfully stupid idea of in-state versus out-of-state tuition, it can really vary. A community college will set you back a couple kilobucks at most. But as Dv said, universities (both public and private) vary a lot. It's almost $18,000 a year for an out-of-state student at Virginia Tech, despite the fact that my permanent residence (240 miles) is closer than a lot of locations actually in the state. As you can no doubt tell, I think this is a poor way to organize things.

Don't know about other schools, but the one's I'm looking at: School of Mines: roughly $20,000 a year Denver University: roughly $40,000 a year University of Colorado at Denver: Real cheap, only like $3000 per year (my parents want me to go there lol =P) Arapahoe Community College (where I am now): What Dv said, 'bout $2000 per year (we actually don't pay most of that, the school system does) The first two include room and board. The second two have no room and board to include. =P

I'm surprised DU is that much. That's a lot, even for a private school. I'm also surprised UCD doesn't offer on-campus housing.

Yeah DU is painfully expensive. =P I am in the running for a $30,000 per year scholarship that will decide whether or not I go there. There may be nearby apartments and such, but UCD has no official on campus rooms. Part of why I don't want to go there especially is I'd have to commute.

Yeah, I would strongly advise against commuting. Not that I've ever done it, but I'm certain that it would make the college experience far less enjoyable.

i'm a former English major. now i work in a library...be careful what you major in. j/k, it isn't that bad. outside of my day job, i also have a band that i'm in with my wife. when we play live shows we get talented friends of ours to join us and fill out the sound. when we record, it is just the two of us. that's pretty much it, but it makes me happy. couldn't see myself doing anything else. http://www.myspace.com/tinyrain
