I have. It's a really good book; sort of an autobiography focusing mainly on his conversion to Christianity.

i've only read about 1/3 of S.B.J. but liked what i did read. C. S. Lewis is quite possibly my very favorite author of the 20th century. some books of his that i think you'd probably like:

Mere Christianity (EVERYONE should read this book, regardless of religious background)
"Till We Have Faces (fantastic re-telling of the myth of Cupid & Psyche's romance)
The Screwtape Letters (an interesting look at spiritual warfare)

The Space Trilogy: 1. Out of the Silent Planet 2. Perelandra 3. That Hideous Strength (most people will rave over the Narnia series, but The Space Trilogy was written for adults. it is MUCH deeper and very enjoyable for the story and the underlying imaginative philosophy)

I read it some years ago, and what Lewis wrote about the nature of joy has haunted me. I need to read it again.

I gotta confess, I reached some part early in the book where he challenges the reader to stop reading if s/he didn't understand some concept of joy...

...and I put the book down at that point.  I guess I haven't experienced true joy in Christ yet?
