And regarding the CMC thread, I was fairly impressed at how it went. There were, regrettably, not many reinforcements for the Free Will side, but from listening to some people here talk about that board I was halfway convinced that the people over there could barely talk, let alone hold a theological debate.
You did see that I consider several CMC members rather intelligent. The conversation you read was dominated by winterlens who seems pretty smart to me (even though I disagree with him, I can give him credit there). Explore about 5 minutes, more or less, and surely you shall find the enclave of the terminally stupid.
