Yay, Vancouver won the bid for the 2010 winter Olympics!  I live in British Columbia, about 8 hours away from Vancouver, so it's pretty exciting for me.  (I'll have to get tickets for some of the hockey games...with any luck, Canada will win gold in both men's and women's again!) If you guys ever get the chance to visit Vancouver, you should - it's absolutely beautiful.  Not to mention that Whistler is an awesome ski resort.

That's pretty cool. I'd love to go to Canada sometime. Or some other foreign country; the only one I've visited is Mexico, and I'll be just fine if I never go there again. (Not that I disliked it...).

I have always wanted to go to Vancouver.  By 2010, I should be all out of college and have a job, Lord willing, so maybe that can be my excuse to go. :D   Salt Lake City was as probably as close as the Olympics will ever get to me(I live in Denver.)  Didn't get a chance to go, though.

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

I live about two or three hours from Canada and have still never been. That must change soon.

Atlanta was pretty darn close for me. I've never been out of the country, but I don't care about sports enough to fight the crowds and deal with the expense of attending the Olympic Games. 2010 is still many years away, though, so who can tell? Maybe I'll have become an avid curling fan by then...

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.
