...for the Music Board. Vlad! has generously agreed to help out at the other sections, but I'm still manning the Music board on my own.

A mod is basically in charge of keeping the conversation going and making sure nobody misbehaves or posts something in the wrong board. Any takers?

How much do they actually have to know about music?  Is newness a problem?  I have the free time, but I feel like I don't know the people or the subject quite well enough.  I am interested, though.

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

You really don't have to know THAT much about music. If, like, a whole day goes by without anyone posting in the Music Board (a rarity), then the music mods would need to make a new thread or something to stimulate more conversation, but you don't have to be an infinite vat of musical knowledge.

I usually do this myself, but I'll be out of town all next week, which is one of the reasons why I'd like someone else to take over while I'm gone. If you're still interested, let me know.

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.
