My wife is bidding on this book on Ebay and the description says 'enlightenment' which is normally a buzz word for me that it means some sort of new age crap.
I also noticed that 'similar' items for sale that were sent in an email after she lost the auction inclued 'The Power Of Intention' by Wayne Dwyer, which I KNOW is newe age mumbo jumbo about 'the power' of the universe being in all of us and we have to 'atune ourselves to it'.
Should I be concerned about Echhart's book?
I'll also research further later, but if anyone can give me the heads up now I would appreciate it.

working at a library i get to see many books. Paul, if you are asking if the book in question is Christian. it is not.

it is full of all the trendy new-age psychobabble you'd expect from most non-fiction best-sellers today.

but it is not coming from a Judeo-Christian ideology, rather a blending of neo-pagan, Christian, Zen etc. etc.

Oh oh.....just like Wayne Dwyer. I'll have to inform my wife.....but that doesn't mean she'll heed. Wink
