I've only seen This Is Spinal Tap. I thought it was good, but I got bored with it towards the end.

And actually, that's not really a Christopher Guest film! He acts in it, but doesn't direct it.

My favorite of his films is Best in Show, though I have yet to see A Mighty Wind.

I think it's Best in Show, but I have a lot of love for A Mighty Wind as well - Fred Willard steals the show in A Mighty Wind.

On the other hand, I watched Waiting for Guffman 2 weeks ago and loved it. The play itself was a little dry (well, drier than usual), but still hilarious.

Off topic, but I'm of the opinion that Fred Willard is terribly underrated. Anyone remember him on Fernwood 2 Night or DC Follies?

No, but any chance I get to see Fred Willard in a film or tv show, I take it.  and to quote Fred in A Mighty Wind: "WHA HAPPEN?"

Have you watched the additional scenes on the DVD? "Who's on top and who's on bottom NOW?"

Hee, yes! Some of the deleted scenes are the best ("Bulging River" anyone?)

"Oh, I forgot to say...he's plugged into these machines over here..."

The next Christopher Guest movie will follow an indie film crew as they go to the Oscars! PERFECT!
