Any Merchant fans here? I ask because her new album comes out on Tuesday.
Personally, I haven't liked any of her work since leaving the Maniacs, and I'm only a casual fan of her work with them. And I really mean casual; I don't even own any of their albums. I just enjoy them when I catch them on the radio.
Anyway, Merchant is a talented vocalist, so if the album gets raves then I might listen, but otherwise, nah. And besides, I've got to save my pennies for the new Amy Grant...

Amy Grant? You mean the one trying to encourage people by comparing their lives to the Titanic? (I know what she means, but THAT was ill-conceived)

Heh. Yeah. That Amy Grant.
And I was kidding about that, by the way.
