hello all.

my wife and I have decided to donate all future profits (this excludes what we have to pay CD Baby to host our CD) from the sale of our new album to the Red Cross until further notice.

at $11 per cd, that means $7(what would have gone to us) will now go directly to the Red Cross.

Tiny Rain is by no means the only indie artist at CD Baby doing this. just follow the link to our CD page, look under "Try This" to find the link to all the artists participating:

http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/tinyrain

i know it isn't much, and it certainly isn't all we plan to do. but if you'd like to hear some new music and at the same time know that you're also helping the disaster relief in a small way...well I just thought I'd put this out there.

Louisiana is very close in proximity to Arkansas...music is so very trivial in light of all that carnage...

anyhow, there you have it.

Tom...that is such an incredible thing to do. When I'm buying a CD again, I'll be sure to check yours out.

that's very kind of you to say; but trust me, we were in no danger of becoming Rockefeller's anyway. laugh

as i said, it is the very least we could do.

but it does warm my heart to see so very many artists at CD Baby who are willing to do the same thing. perhaps there is yet a glimmer of hope left for humanity after all.

Very noble of you to do that.
Believe me, it's more than 99% of people will do.

It's more than some of us can afford to do.

Tom,

I'll tip my hat to you for doing this.  While it may not seem like much, every little bit helps.

Don't get touchy.  :P
I didn't mean it in that sense.
I meant it proportionate to income.
You remember what Jesus said about the old widow woman who gave one mite, all she had??? Wink
