I was thinking of posting this in the concept albums thread, but I decided that it should stand apart.  What would you call Christian albums that are based around a certain theological concept?  An example of this type of thing would be Derek Webb's album, which deals with the concept of the church.  I think that they are in a unique category of album.   What other albums would fit this "theology album" category?  And, what do you think about them?  My answers to those questions: most of Micheal Cards stuff and I think that they have their place.

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

If they're done in an artful way then they certainly have their place. I can't think of any specific examples off the top of my head, save for Leslie Phillips' The Turning, which may or may not be a "Christian album."

LSU-Dogfish Jones (one of my favorate albums..ever, Pilgrim's Progress amid pirates, mermaids, sea monsters, islands and sea towns)
LSU-the grape prophet (an album about false prophets and the damage they do)
Lost Dogs-Nazarene Crying Towel (a simple album, mostly bluegrass/americana/folk worship based around the image of a crying towel and prayers in the dark night)(EXCELLENT)
Daniel Amos-Mr. Buechner's Dream (a must-have for all true Buechner fans) 33 songs, each of them slobbering with creativity.  Beatle-esqe.  Not only the greatest christian album ever, but one of the greatest ALBUMS ever made.
etc.
