This week I've been listening to 3 relatively new Christian rock bands that I've not heard a lot about.  I was given copies of each of the cd's, and I'm intrigued by each, but have yet to formulate a solid opinion one way or the other on any of them.  I have only read a little (including bdg's reviews) on each of them, but I'm curious, I guess, if anyone here has heard them and what they think of them?  I'm not looking for anything specific, I'm just looking for ANY thoughts on them.  Thanks.

I actually own the latest CDs from Forever Changed and The Myriad, and have heard a few songs from Monday Morning.  Here are my thoughts:

Forever Changed: I had actually known about them before their album came out because they are from Tallahassee, FL, which is roughly 2 hours away from where I live.  I like their album, but I thought it could have been better.  On the plus side, I really like how they fuse elements of '80's rock into their sound, and lyrically they are above average.  On the downside, though, the album just doesn't stand out in any way.  I ended up giving their album a "B-", which means I think it's a solid buy, but there are better albums out there.

The Myriad: I like these guys a lot.  Musically, their CD sounds great, and they succeeded in working their influences (which seem to Radiohead and The Police, just to name a few) without directly copying them.  Lyrics are fairly intelligent as well.  Their CD graded at a "B+" with me, and right now it is my #11 CD of the year.  It could have easily been an "A-" if it wasn't for a few songs that were a little on the dull side.  Out of the three bands you mentioned, this is the one I recommend the most highly.

Monday Morning: I've heard a few songs and I have mixed feelings.  I liked "Dear You" a lot, but didn't really care for "Sunshine" that much.
