Has anyone else heard these guys? I've been enjoying their song Venus In Cancer and was thinking of buying their cd. Anyone else heard it and think it's worth buying?

The name alone makes me worry it could be a knockoff.

Of, well, another entertainment venue on fire. Do I even need to go for the punchline here?

Reviews have compared them to Sigur Ros and My Bloody Valentine. I'm terrible at describing things, if the pub were up I'd upload the song I have. There are some songs you can stream at their website. Here is link.

You might want to take on one of these bands first, then.

Each are pretty unlike anything else I've heard (and, by extension, quite different from each other).  The reason I made the statement is really because both MBV and Sigur Ros are great artists - you would be doing yourself a favor to check into them.  I don't know whether that would be true with Amusement Parks on Fire.

I've always been meaning to check out Sigur Ros, I'm just a procrastinator. However, I never heard of MBV until now; I will be checking them out...I'm still procrastinating on Amusment Parks though...
