So... wonder what films Christian critics are labeling as their favorites of 2005? Jeffrey Overstreet says... Millions. Peter Chattaway says... Dear Frankie. And, for what its worth, I say Munich. So there are the votes from 3 CT Movies critics... we'll be posting our complete, compiled list-- the top ten films of the year, as voted on by our staff-- first thing in February. |

I was caught off-guard by ALL those choices.
Thought Overstreet would go with A History of Violence. (Didn't even think Millions would be in the top ten.)
I didn't really know about Chattaway since I only read his blog on occasion, but I wouldn't have thought of Dear Frankie at all, based simply on his review.
I thought you would stick with Broken Flowers and A History of Violence over Munich in the end (which I understand you're going to watch Broken Flowers again).
So kudos to all three for being unpredictable.

I'm kind of bummed that you didn't rank them, but other than that, I really enjoyed reading, Josh. I've only seen eight of the fifteen, but those eight are all excellent. I am sad Winter Solstice didn't get a mention. |

I *tried* ranking them, but it's just so difficult, because I love them all for different reasons. I mean, how does one even begin to compare Corpse Bride, The Matador, and Dear Frankie? Apples, oranges, and bananas!
