Place the States where they belong.  A fun little game that allows me to play when I should be working.  Ahhhhh!!!  My best average error is 2 miles...can't get it down to 1!

my first try:
Score: 90%
Average Error: 14 miles
Time: 470 seconds

I have the hardest time with the little New England states. and randomly placing Wyoming was difficult.

second try was terrible.

third try:
94%
13 miles
201 seconds

must stop now. I have begun to hate poor little Rhode Island.

My first try, I was off by an average of 23 miles, due to having several non-coastal states at the beginning. After about six more tries, my best was an average of 5 miles...there is always one random state that I place off by about 9 miles. *shakes fist*

I got an average of 15 mile error, thanks to Rhode Island, which I put somewhere on the New Jersey coast, and Wyoming, which I got on like the fifth round.

1st try...

Score - 98%
Avg - 1 mile
Time 524 secs

My one wrong attempt was Tennessee - the state I live in.  It's pretty tough when it was my third state to place with nothing around it.

Sorry to get you addicted...maybe we should start a support group.

I hate it when Wyoming is the first state.

Although my first response to your admissions of addiciton is "wow...sad", at least you're playing something that improves your geography skills. Maybe if I gave it a couple more whirls I wouldn't put Rhode Island somewhere near the Princeton campus.

Just tried it.  Here were my results:

Score: 98%
Average Error: 3 miles
Time: 506 s

My one error was on Utah, mostly because I got it pretty early in the game and had nothing else around it at the time.

FINALLY!!!

100% Correct in 186 seconds.  You would think it would light up a message or something, but it doesn't.  I feel cheated.

Wow, I applaud your skill. I've only gotten it down to 98% (1 mile radius of error). The quest continues...

I assume you mean the bar of having way too much free time Wink
