Ah, yes, the old "proof by contrived example". These comics are plenty heavy-handed themselves; it would be a lot better if they were more natural, not heaviliy drama'd-up six-page contrivances.

I agree, yet, I do think they are somewhat more subtle than the old Chick tracts. I mean, the stereotypes aren't quite as pervasive here. They're a move in the right direction, but nowhere near as nuanced as they should be.
