since everyone here LUUUUUUUUUUUV's them, i'm caving and buying an OTR album. now, let me know which album is the MUST HAVE for a first-timer.

Maybe you should get their newest one, Ohio, which I understand comes out today. That way, you can not only engage in the OTR 'experience,' you can impress your friends by being 'hip' to the 'scene' (just like me, busting out my ghetto lingo).

Good Dog Bad Dog is the superior album, but Films is probably easier to get into. It's a tossup.

I myself bought Films first, but I think I would have enjoyed Good Dog, Bad Dog more.  You might want to hear some songs from each, first.
