this from the cmcentral forums...

"Plus One.

Have you guys heard "Sea Of Angels"???

It's on the new Festival Con Dios CD (I think it came out, I'm not sure, I got it way before it's release date).

The song is intense. It reminds me of U2's "Beautiful Day" for some reason. It's passionate, not too rock, not too pop... it's great. I'm looking forward to their new one and I'm not a big Plus One guy. "

I don't know...I haven't heard the song, but I think U2 wins on back catalog alone if you're comparing the two.

I don't think you can even compare Plus One to U2, as far as careers go...for one single song, maybe...which is what that guy was doing...

I'd have to hear the song. But the guy clearly has a high opinion of U2, doesn't have a naturally high opinion of +1, and has found a reason to compare the two on this song. Not compare as in "which is better?", but compare as in relate. Makes sense to me.

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception.
