Caedmon's Call could be really interesting.

Jars... man, I could get too emotionally attached. We'll see.

I like all of Brenden's suggestions.  I'd probably go with Caedmon's Call next, especially now that they've left Essential it could be a way to sort-of "cap off" their career with them.  I obviously would love to see one for Jars too, because they are my favorite band.  Switchfoot would be good too, but I'd prefer to do the other two first.

I like the list.

Personally, I'd prefer to do one for Switchfoot next, since I know nothing only a little bit about the other artists' music, so I couldn't make much of a selection.

I didn't think anything from Thrive is worthy of being on a best-of

I disagree; I don't just like the songs I like from Thrive because they're ear candy. I think "Million Pieces" is just as good, if not better, as many of their earlier radio hits, and "Cornelius" and "John Woo" are both unexpectedly left turns that don't resemble anything the 'boys had done before that. Even "It Is You", which didn't make the cut, is powerful in its simplicity. And that's coming from a guy who is just plain sick and tired of modern worship. Sometimes it's more about the execution than the complexity of the words or chords.

The best-of mix is uploading now; should be up within the hour. Enjoy! It's not super-high quality, but most of y'all know these songs anyway, so I'm hoping that's not too big of a deal.

I think that's a great final mix of songs, and in an interesting order too.  I own all of the albums those songs are from, so I'll just make the mix myself (I can't ever seem to get the pub to work for me anyway).  I might squeeze in a couple of my own personal favorites though ("Break", "Fall On You").

My vote is for Jars of Clay next.
