Since everyone always seems to submit their answers to the songs I know before I do, I decided to do my own Meme. There are a few R&B songs...I don't know if anyone will get those since no one here seems too crazy about that particular genre...anyways, here's my list:
1. The heart is abloom [U2- Beautiful Day]
2. Free like a willow tree, Free like a summer's eve
3. A green plastic watering can[Radiohead- Fake Plastic Trees]
4. As we sit here talking I am embarking on your private property
5. Gideon, What have you told us at all?
6. Just listen to the politician wishin' [Relient K- The Only Thing Worse Than Beating a Dead Horse...
7. Summertime, summertime[Mae- Summertime]
8. Tonight my heart is cold [Anberlin- Glass to the Arson]
9. I was waiting for a cross-town train [The Postal Service- Clark Gable]
10. You're the kind that turns my head and makes me look
11. Give me one more chance [U2- Even Better Than the Real Thing
12. This is my 45th depressing tune[Sixpence None The Richer- Anything]
13. Can I give you my trust, I'm fallin
14. Welcome to the planet [Switchfoot- Dare You To Move]
15. Momma always told me to be careful who I love
16. The morning bell, light another candle [Radiohead- The morning bell]
17. Gaze into her killing jar, I'd sometimes stare for hours
18. Everything is everything [Lauryn Hill- Everything is everything]
19. I'm out in the rain again, goin' bersek over all the things she said
20. Dear Jaime I've got a letter I would like to send
21. Nights tenderly drift, losing my grip
22. He said, "what about Los Angeles?"
23. I have weapons and battle plans
24. You must be the seed [Sixpence None the Richer- Love]
25. I fell in love again [Sufjan Stevens- Chicago]
26. Drinking stolen gin from the rich people's bar next door
27. Slowly, Surely, I walk away from that old desperate and tainted love
28. She greets the day with her hair wet [Mae- Tisbury Lane]
29. La, la, la, la, la, oh!
30. Pushing through the topsoil, blinking in the light

Man, this would have been a fun one. It seems like whoever goes first gets the most (hence, the scoredboards in the other threads are stupid). Skipping the ones that are done... 6. Just listen to the politician wishin'
Relient K - Kicking a dead horse... 18. Everything is everything
Heh, that's the title of that Lauryn Hill song.

Oh crap, you're right. Why the heck would I mention a guilty pleasure before a song from one of my favorite albums? I am losing it, I swear... but yes, that's definitely Even Better Than The Real Thing, now that you mention it. I knew the Anberlin song too, but at least I don't consider it a favorite. Messing up two in a row would be really embarassing.

I guess it's time for hints.
2,10, and 27 are by a female r&b singer who lives her life like it's golden.
4,19, Are disciples from the suburbs
5. This band's name is an article of clothing one could put on in the morning
13, 29, This female R&B artist only had one thing going for her last year with her one hit single, which one of these is...
15. this female R&B singer was in a movie with Jet Li.
17. Bloodied lovers are on the album cover of the cd this song is on
20. This band's name is also the title of a beatles song...they have yet to release a full length cd.
21. The title of this song is also a phobia.
22. The lead singer of this band doesn't really sing, he kind of snarls/growls at you
23,30, This boy has an album cover with an animal band on it
26. they design buildings in the capital of Finland
28. This band is waiting for the breakdown
