I'm not sure if there are any other Amos Lee fans here.. but I just found out he had a new album coming out October 3rd of this year (Another album on my birthday..), Supply and Demand.

I found out because it leaked to one of the torrent sites I visit (filemp3). :P

I'm listening to it now, sounds good. A little more upbeat than his previous self-titled release.. but still great. It's a mix of folk-pop and jazz-rock that works really well for him IMO. He's toured with Bob Dylan and Norah Jones.

If anybody is interested I'll upload a few songs to the pub.

I was at a resteraunt. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but I don't think the waitress understood me. Cuz she said "how would you like your eggs?". So I tried to answer her anyhow, I said incubated, and then raised, and then beheaded, and then plucked, and then cut up, and then put on a grill, and then put on to a bun. Damn, it's gonna take a while! I don't have time - scrambled! -- Mitch Hedberg

Thanks for noticing this, Josh. I heard this guy's debut and found it to be pleasant, at times borderline great, but ultimately a little too low-key to be really memorable or exciting. But the man's got serious talent, so I've had high hopes for his follow-up.

Yeah, I agree..

I liked it, but it wasn't an artistic masterpiece or anything. I eventually overplayed it.. so I'm looking forward to giving Supply and Demand a good listen. He's changed styles some.. I haven't put my finger on it, but it's different somehow :P

I think I've sorta put my finger on the change, more/louder drums. The drums are pretty toned down on the self-titled, and just sorta 'there' in the background... relying more on bass and guitar for the 'fill-in' music. His vocals also seem less 'pretty boy' (i.e. Colors), and slightly more gritty.

Maybe by the time the pub is back up I'll have found a few favorite songs and will upload some.

I've looked around, and so far as I can see, nobody has posted any sort of preview/review yet..
