First I post my Kutless review at CMCentral, then this. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Read for yourself:

I disagree with you on YHF (and agree with the guy that said that you don't seem to like noise-rock in general), but this forum is a funny read.  It's HIS opinion, people!

Says I need to be a member to view it...I don't want to sign up for another forum just to find out what they are saying in one thread!   How mean!

Fun facts about Chuck Norris:

Newton's Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Chuck Norris can divide by zero.

Chuck Norris CAN believe it's not butter.

Yeah, it said that to me, too.  I just don't care so I registered.  I'll probably never visit that site again (I don't really frequent band-specific boards).

So, what next David?  Your "tell 'em how it is" review of "The Bends" at ateaseweb.com?   =D  rolleyes

It's all cool, but some of what you find irritating, I find indispensible.

I didnt feel like registering to read the thread, either, but if you're talking about David's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot review, then yeah, I disagreed with A LOT of what David said. It didn't make me angry or anything; I just don't see it the same way. And I'm baffled by the fact that David never mentioned the linear storyline that the lyrics contain, since he tends to like that sort of thing...

That's because whatever linear story line there is apparently isn't coherent enough to be noticed after listening to the album 50 times. I could see a few terms here and there that vaguely connected one song to another... Did I just completely miss the boat on this one or what?

I thought it was cool that in defense of spiritually-themed "artistic" music, someone recommended that I go listen to Joseph Arthur.

In what way? What does it add to the story that I'm apparently missing?

Well, I totally understand the fact that some people just aren't going to like Wilco, and that's fine. But yeah, frankly, I do think you missed the boat on the storyline. But maybe that's just me; bloop and other Wilco fans, did you notice a "plot" developing in the lyrics?

The music mirrors the mental/spiritual state of the narrator. Some songs sound cluttered and fuzzy, whereas others are more clear and focused; this is no accident.
