I was actually listening to the David Crowder version. (I haven't ripped Michigan to my computer yet.) However, you had no way of knowing that just by looking at the lyrics, so I'll give you credit for that one.
Rondom fact, apparently Sufjan prefers the Crowder version of the song. At least this is what he supposedly said in an interview.

Rondom fact, apparently Sufjan prefers the Crowder version of the song. At least this is what he supposedly said in an interview. That's interesting. I actually prefer Sufjan's version; Crowder's seems a bit on the dry side to me. I thought it was "grits", not "bricks". That would actually make more sense, although I listened to that passage 3 or 4 times and could have sworn he said "bricks." Then again, I also kept thinking of the term "drop it like a hot brick", so that might be clouding my thinking a little bit. "Where We Blong", Sanctus Real
Correct artist, wrong song.

That's interesting. I actually prefer Sufjan's version; Crowder's seems a bit on the dry side to me. I agree. Plus Crowder left out some lyrics. Apparently Sufjan wasn't so attached to the lyrics that got left out. Correct artist, wrong song. DOH. There are a few songs on that album that I get confused with one another, so without cheating, I'll guess again: "We're Trying"?

Correct. BTW, I keep getting that song's guitar part (played in the intro and repeated prominently throughout the song) stuck in my head.

Hint time!
2. This song's title could be referring to starting either high school or college.
7. This band got popular during the garage band movement of the late '90's, and this song was used in a commercial around that time.
12. This was an early hit for a CCM folk-pop artist who is known for talking a lot during his concerts.
13. I don't think there are too many fans of this band on here, but they are a Mainstream pop/rock duo from Arizona. The song's title could be referring to an artist's first exposure to radio.
14. This is a solo effort from the former lead singer of a band who had an alternative rock hit back in the mid-'90's. This singer converted to Christianity recently. Josh does not like his album.
15. This band is signed to Credential Records, and has previously opened for Switchfoot.
18. This progressive rock band released a new album last year, although this song is from a 1994 album whose title describes a state of not being asleep.
19. This British singer has a lot of fans on this phorum, and she's had a big radio hit this year.
20. This female singer has another song in this meme that has already been identified correctly.
21. This female CCM folk-pop singer is not related to one of the most famous posters on the CMC forum, although they have the same surname.
25. This Australian band is on hiatus right now, although the lead singer released a solo album last year.
27. Same artist as #14.
28. This band signed to Floodgate records has the same name as a movie.
29. This band, who is originally from Florida, is signed to The Militia Group, and they are also releasing a new album with a rather amusing title later this month.
30. This is a band from Florida who called it quits earlier this year, and I have seen them several times before they got signed.

2. This song's title could be referring to starting either high school or college. "Freshman Year", Everyday Sunday? 18. This progressive rock band released a new album last year, although this song is from a 1994 album whose title describes a state of not being asleep. Dream Theater 19. This British singer has a lot of fans on this phorum, and she's had a big radio hit this year. KT Tunstall, but I don't recognize the song. 20. This female singer has another song in this meme that has already been identified correctly. Probably Nichole Nordeman, and I have all her albums, so I feel really stupid right now. 28. This band signed to Floodgate records has the same name as a movie. Cool Hand Luke

Actually, it's not Nichole Nordeman. All your other guesses are correct. As for the KT Tunstall song, it is on her Eye to the Telescope CD, so I'm not pulling anything out of left field here.

I didn't recognize the KT song either. I was too curious and had to google it, so I can say no more.

That was "Through the Dark". Some KT fans these people are.
In all fairness, that's the last track on the CD and one of my least favorites, and she kind of slurs her words sometimes. The lyrics to that song aren't patricularly meme-orable.

I'll admit, I had to keep replaying the beginning of that song a few times because I had a hard time telling what she was saying at first. Here's a second round of hints. In most instances, I've copied the original hint and added to it. I'll probably reveal the answers on Tuesday night for the ones nobody has gotten by that time. 12. This was an early hit for a CCM folk-pop artist who is known for talking a lot during his concerts. He used to be a label-mate of Andrew Peterson. 13. I don't think there are too many fans of this band on here, but they are a Mainstream pop/rock duo from Arizona. The song's title could be referring to an artist's first exposure to radio. One of their songs appeared on a $3.99 iTunes sampler earlier this year. 14. This is a solo effort from the former lead singer of a band who had an alternative rock hit back in the mid-'90's called "Sucked Out." This singer converted to Christianity recently. Josh does not like this album. 15. This band is signed to Credential Records, and has previously opened for Switchfoot. The song title is something you'd want to say if you are asking for something nicely. 18. This is from Dream Theater's Awake album. 20. Same artist as #4. 21. This female CCM folk-pop singer is not related to one of the most famous posters on the CMC forum, although they have the same surname. This song is the title track from one of her CDs. 25. This Australian band is on hiatus right now, although the lead singer released a solo album last year. This band previously opened for Third Day on the Come Together tour. 27. Same artist as #14. 30. This is a band from Florida who called it quits earlier this year, and I have seen them several times before they got signed. They were on my last meme.

12. This was an early hit for a CCM folk-pop artist who is known for talking a lot during his concerts. He used to be a label-mate of Andrew Peterson. That's gotta be Bebo Norman, but I don't know his early songs too well, so I'll guess "Stand". 14. This is a solo effort from the former lead singer of a band who had an alternative rock hit back in the mid-'90's called "Sucked Out." This singer converted to Christianity recently. Josh does not like this album. Sounds like John Davis, but I don't know any of his songs. 25. This Australian band is on hiatus right now, although the lead singer released a solo album last year. This band previously opened for Third Day on the Come Together tour. That would be the Paul Colman Trio.

21. "All Right Here" by Sara Groves I should have gotten those two, but I guess I haven't listened to those albums in a while.
