Weird Al Yankovic - White And Nerdy
8. "We are volcanoes, making new land."
Sleeping At Last - Levels Of Light
10. "Words like violence break the silence, come crashing in, into my little world."
I'm gonna say Anberlin's version of Enjoy The Silence, rather than the Depeche Mode original, which is a little better

Margot & The Nuclear So & So's - Vampires In Blue Dresses
22. "You want a genocide, we can avert our eyes tonight."

24. "Don't wanna be a [title], don't wanna be some beer-swilling hockey nut."
Weird Al Yankovic - Canadian Idiot
28. "Shoot a dream in your arm and sleep away."
Jars Of Clay - Suprise
29. "I go out in public now more than you might think."

10. "Words like violence break the silence, come crashing in, into my little world."
10. "Enjoy The Silence" either Depeche Mode or Anberlin ETA: Nevermind. Brenden just beat me to it.

14. "Just read your letter, and fell down to my knees." Alexandria - Lana Lane (lots of Pub songs in this one).
Also, it's too bad I was slow on this, since there were several that I knew but others got first.

If you don’t have freedom as a principle, you can never see a reason not to make an exception. There are constantly going to be times when for one reason or another there’s some practical convenience in making an exception. rms

I was at a resteraunt. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but I don't think the waitress understood me. Cuz she said "how would you like your eggs?". So I tried to answer her anyhow, I said incubated, and then raised, and then beheaded, and then plucked, and then cut up, and then put on a grill, and then put on to a bun. Damn, it's gonna take a while! I don't have time - scrambled! -- Mitch Hedberg

In addition, I'm guessing that the opening "Ready, steady, go!" is from one of the openings to Full Metal Alchemist .
