I posted David's review of Norah Jones' record tonight.

Here 'tis.

Anybody else heard this? I haven't, but it sounds like something I might enjoy. I dunno, I might have to break down and buy this one sometime... right after I dig up enough money for the new Innocence Mission...

I enjoy this album quite a bit. Great review, as always.

I've heard a few of her songs, mainly because I saw her in Two Weeks' Notice. I don't generally go for that style of music but I like her voice.

Oh, eeek, Andree!  My virgin ears!

I've seriously considered buying this CD.  I wish CDs were cheaper.  Should I get this one or Switchfoot's "Learning to Breathe"?  Or Nichole Nordeman's "This Mystery"?

ANDREE! Don't jepordize your purity! True love is worth waiting for! It's gonna be awfully unpleasant to listen to Norah Jones when you're wasting away from AIDS, you heathen!

Um...right. And polka: Learning to Breathe.

The album by Norah Jones is ok.  Sounds great next to everything else on the radio but that isn't saying anything at all.  Don't know if I would pay full price for it if I were you (I got a used copy for 3 bucks) but it's worth checking out at least.  Hopefully she doesn't go completely mainstream in her music but continues to be creative.

I love both of those albums but I like This Mystery just a little bit more. You couldn't go wrong with either one of those. And, if you haven't heard it, I suggest Nichole's first CD, Wide Eyed, over This Mystery.
