Not sure if anyone around here is much of a fan of his (I am), but Mat Kearney is a featured artist on MSN Music right now.  They call him "One of popular music's most innovative new artists" on one of the links.  There is a short video interview and some other info up, and they are showing a concert of his from back in September, on Friday on msn.  There is a little more info at http://music.msn.com/matkearney?GT1=8850

Eh. I'll become interested again when he actually puts out a full album of new material that isn't a result of a label trying to capitalize on his vocal similarity to Chris Martin.

I'm a pretty big fan of his.  I'm happy to see him getting more and more recognition.

i watched the 'concert.'  it was pretty cool...about 30 minutes or so of him and his band (which included Tyler Burkham on guitar and BGV's) as he opened for John Mayer in NYC.

He is pretty good in concert, I'll give him that.

Mat played Letterman last night.  Though I'm getting somewhat tired of "Nothing Left to Lose," (the song), He did very well.  Tyler Burkham was once again his sidekick.
