Kick off time.  I'm trying to find songs I haven't used previously . . . haha.  My last.fm is probably a good indicator of the stuff on here if you all get really stuck.  And I never realized how many instrumentral tracks I have now...

1)  "So glad to see you have overcome them--Completely silent now, with heaven's help, you've cast your demons out . . . and not to pull your halo down around your neck . . ." (The Noose--A Perfect Circle)

2) "I remember the thirty-five sweet goodbyes when you put me on the wolverine up to Annandale" (My Old School--Steely Dan)

3) "giant steps are what you take, [title].  i hope my leg don't break, [title] . . ."

4) "Down around the corner, a half a mile from here, you can see them long trains run, and you watch them disappear--
Without love"

5) "[title, title], into this house we're born, into this world we're thrown, like a dog without a bone, an actor out on loan"

6) "Drink up baby down, are you in or are you out?  Leave your things behind, 'cause it's all going off without you" (Let Go--Frou Frou)

7) "Here we stand, worlds apart, hearts broken in two, two, two; sleepless nights, losing ground, I'm reaching for you, you, you" (Separate Ways--Journey)

8) "one day the dreamers died within us, when all our answers never came, we hid the truth beneath our skin but our shadows never looked the same"

9) "Another suburban family morning, Grandmother screaming at the wall; We have to shout above the din of our rice crispies, we can't hear anything at all"

10) "Revvin' up your engine, listen to her howlin' roar: metal under tension, beggin' you to touch and go" (Danger Zone--Kenny Loggins)

11) "[title] sleeps in the park, shaves in the dark..." (Mean Mr. Mustard--The Beatles)

12) "Dead as dead can be, the doctor tells me, but I just can’t believe him . . . Ever the optimistic one, I’m sure of your ability to become my perfect enemy"

13) "boldly, brave [part of title] rode forth from Camelot; he was not afraid to die, oh, [title]!"  (Brave Sir Robin--Monty Python)

14) "If you don't hear me how can I tell you?  if you don't listen, why should I speak?  Just because you're angry, don't assume I'm weak"

15) "exactly how you hear it is exactly how it all went down; it was later in the evening, the facts and the figures got turned around"

16) "we're more than carbon and chemicals" (Image of the Invisible--Thrice)

17) "Bound at every limb by my shackles of fear, sealed with lies through so many tears, lost from within, pursuing the end, I fight for the chance to be lied to again"

18) "Well my temperatures rising and my feet on the floor, twenty people rockin and they wanna go more! Let me in baby, I dont know what you've got, but you'd better take it easy, this place is hot!"

19) "I recall when I was small how I spent my time alone; the busy world was not for me, so I went and found my own"

20) "When I wake up in the morning, love
And the sunlight hurts my eyes
And something without warning, love
Bears heavy on my mind" (Lovely Day--Bill Withers)

21) "out here in the fields, I fight for my meals.  I get my back into my living . . . I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right, I don't need to be forgiven" (Baba O'Riley--The Who)

22) "What'll you do when you get lonely and nobody's waiting by your side?  You've been running and hiding much too long, you know it's just your foolish pride" (Layla--Eric Clapton or Derek and the Dominoes)

23) "How long, how long will I slide? Separate my side, I don't think it's bad to slit my throat, it's all I ever . . ."(Otherside--Red Hot Chili Peppers)

24) "I [title] myself today to see if I still feel; I focused on the pain, the only thing that's real" (Hurt--Johnny Cash or Nine Inch Nails)

25) "If you're having trouble with the high school head, he's givin' you the blues" (Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap--AC/DC)

26) "when i was young it seemed that life was so wonderful, a miracle, oh, it was beautiful, magical..." (The Logical Song--Supertramp)

27) "rock on, [title]; take your silver sthingy and dig your grave"

28) "[title], where you with that gun o' yours?  [title], I said, where're you going with that gun in your hand?  You know, I'm going to shoot my old lady--you know I caught her messin' round with another man" (Hey Joe--Jimi Hendrix)

29) "Seems I got to have a change of scene, cause every night I have the strangest dreams--imprisoned by the way it used to be, left here on my own or so it seems"

30) "I don't mind other guys dancin' with my girl; that's fine, I know 'em all pretty well.  But I know sometimes I must get out in the light, better leave her behind . . ."

BONUS!: "[title], would you take me by the hand? [title], would you take me by the hand? Can you show me the shine of your japan, the sparkle of your china?" (Bodhisattva--Steely Dan)

7) "Here we stand, worlds apart, hearts broken in two, two, two; sleepless nights, losing ground, I'm reaching for you, you, you"

10) "Revvin' up your engine, listen to her howlin' roar: metal under tension, beggin' you to touch and go" (gosh, I never actually caught the lyrics of this song before, whoa)

13) "boldly, brave [part of title] rode forth from Camelot; he was not afraid to die, oh, [title]!"

16) "we're more than carbon and chemicals" (easy one for you all)

20) "When I wake up in the morning, love
And the sunlight hurts my eyes
And something without warning, love
Bears heavy on my mind"

22) "What'll you do when you get lonely and nobody's waiting by your side?  You've been running and hiding much too long, you know it's just your foolish pride"

24) "I [title] myself today to see if I still feel; I focused on the pain, the only thing that's real"

25) "If you're having trouble with the high school head, he's givin' you the blues"

28) "[title], where you with that gun o' yours?  [title], I said, where're you going with that gun in your hand?  You know, I'm going to shoot my old lady--you know I caught her messin' round with another man"
7. "Separate Ways" Journey

10. "Danger Zone" Kenny Loggins (BTW, I used to watch Top Gun all the time when I was younger.)

13. "Sir Robin" - I know it's from Monty Python & The Holy Grail

16. "Image of the Invisible" Thrice

20. "Lovely Day" - I know Out of Eden has done a version of this song, although they also have a verse before the lyrics you listed, so I suspect you're looking for a different version of that song.

22. "Layla" Eric Clapton

24. "Hurt" Johnny Cash (?)

25. "Dirty Deeds" Joan Jett & The Blackhearts or AC/DC (?)

28. "Hey Joe" Jimi Hendrix

^ Hurt was originally done by Nine Inch Nails, but Johnny covered it... and others probably did too.

I was at a resteraunt. I ordered a chicken sandwich, but I don't think the waitress understood me. Cuz she said "how would you like your eggs?". So I tried to answer her anyhow, I said incubated, and then raised, and then beheaded, and then plucked, and then cut up, and then put on a grill, and then put on to a bun. The original was done by Bill Withers, and then remixed into a rap version by The S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M. (dance music group created by the guys from C&C Music Factory). That version was on The Bodyguard soundtrack.
