It was in about 450 theaters, then was apparently dropped by many after a week after getting very poor reviews and making little money.

The Family Christian Store I was at today had bought a bunch of AMC ticket vouchers in anticipation of the film, and then when it got pulled, they had to sell the rest just as open gift certificates to see any movie, for drastically reduced prices. So thanks to that movie's failure, we get to go see some other movie for like $5 apiece. Though I still want to see Thr3e; I read the book and I remember thinking it would make a fun movie.

Ted Dekker is a favorite of mine, and it was a good book, but I'm not suprised that it did so poorly. It probably would have been better to start with the Circle Trilogy or Showdown.

The movie might still be fun, I'll have to check it out on dvd.

House is supposed to be releasing later this year. That could be a fun movie, if they change the crappy Peretti ending.
