Brenden: 78.40
Murlough23: 78.20

Dang, dude. I knew you were gonna win but I didn't realize it would come that close. All I needed was to guess one rating exactly in an earlier round instead of being off by one star, and we would have tied.

Congrats on the win Brenden. I guess I didn't do too badly for a first timer.

You know, the start of the year would be a great time to start this up again... assuming there's someone here who wants to be the ringleader.  blink

I'd be up for being a critic again if we do get a fresh round going.

I have a frighteningly large music backlog and this would force me to really address it. Could get a fun amount of variety in there too...

I'd be a critic again, but it's too time consuming to score it.

Um, I'll add it up.  How hard can it be?

^Looks like we have a scorer.   Smiley

I'm in for being a critic again.

I'm reminding myself how to play - kind of important as the scorer.  I'll play as well.

I suppose I shouldn't be a party pooper. I'll play. Hopefully there aren't a ton of critics this time - if so, I might have to gracefully bow out.

For those who need a primer on the scoring:

Guessing an exact star rating = 10 points
Guessing within one star = 5 points
Guessing within 2 stars = 2 points
Anything else = 0 points

Total score = sum of points for guessing other critics' ratings / number of critics other than yourself

This should average to a perfect 10 for the round if you get everyone else's ratings exactly right. (Which I don't think has ever happened in the history of the game.) A perfect score for the entire game would be the number of rounds * 10.

To keep from going nuts with repeating decimals, I had been rounding all scores to the nearest .01.

So, when do we start? I have the perfect idea for some albums to use.
