I feel like I'm the only one who enjoys Parks & Recreation around here. It started off really slow but got so funny later. It's really found a nice groove now.
Did I forget to mention P&R? Probably because it's not on right now. I
love that show and hope to stumble across a filming of it at some point (since the outside of their City Hill is really Pasadena City Hall, literally a block from where I work). I found myself missing it the other day - I enjoy all of the current Thursday sitcom lineup (even
Outsourced, which apparently P&R fans aren't allowed to like), but my week feels incomplete without a dose of Tom Haverford's usual sleaze and the stubborn inaction of Ron F'ing Swanson.
As far as TV - I watch entirely way too much of it. These are the shows that I've either regularly watched this year or have DVRed to watch during breaks of normal TV:
The DVR is a lifesaver. That said, seriously, how do you find the time?
The DVR will be a big help to me when SyFy burns off the last 5 episodes of
Caprica all in one day, because no way I'm gonna marathon those all at once. I'd probably want to slit my wrists if I didn't take a break in between.
