I feel like I'm the only one who enjoys Parks & Recreation around here. It started off really slow but got so funny later. It's really found a nice groove now.

Did I forget to mention P&R? Probably because it's not on right now. I love that show and hope to stumble across a filming of it at some point (since the outside of their City Hill is really Pasadena City Hall, literally a block from where I work). I found myself missing it the other day - I enjoy all of the current Thursday sitcom lineup (even Outsourced, which apparently P&R fans aren't allowed to like), but my week feels incomplete without a dose of Tom Haverford's usual sleaze and the stubborn inaction of Ron F'ing Swanson.

As far as TV - I watch entirely way too much of it. These are the shows that I've either regularly watched this year or have DVRed to watch during breaks of normal TV:

The DVR is a lifesaver. That said, seriously, how do you find the time?

The DVR will be a big help to me when SyFy burns off the last 5 episodes of Caprica all in one day, because no way I'm gonna marathon those all at once. I'd probably want to slit my wrists if I didn't take a break in between.

If Law and Order:SVU is on, there's a good chance I'm a) watching it or b) not watching because I've already seen it.

Most of the live TV I watch now that I'm in law school (lawl school) is basketball, but DVR is set to record...

Project Runway (season ended)
The Office
Detroit 1-8-7
What Not to Wear (lol)
NCIS
L&O: SVU (new ones)
L&O: LA

uh, crime show addict much...

I was gonna say, no CSI?

(I don't watch CSI, because it grosses me out, but I know enough about it to know when other shows are spoofing it.)

Most of the shows I used to watch have gone off air or moved to nights I couldn't watch them and never got into DVRing and catching up on them, so much so that really the only two things I watch regularly these days are on at the same time on Thursday nights, which means our DVR is always recording them both, and we watch one or the other as it is recording if we are home, and then watch the other.  Anyways, CSI and The Office are really the only two things I watch regularly anymore, unless you count Phineas and Ferb with  my kids, or NFL/college football/Sportscenter/Baseball Tonight/Baseball/etc.

I meant more in general that I think I'm the only one that likes it. No one I know outside of my computer really watches it. Sad.

Most of the time I end up about 3-5 shows behind at all times except on The Office, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec (when it's on), Amazing Race, and Survivor (make sure to watch all of those the week of). Some of those shows I'll end up dropping and not finishing, or just keep them in the queue until there's nothing on TV (Christmas, repeats, summer, etc.)

I try to keep current (meaning a few days behind at the worst for stuff on the DVR) on all shows that I watch, mostly to avoid getting accidentally spoiled. When I can tell I'm having trouble doing this, I refuse to pick up any new shows. I'll generally Netflix DVDs to keep me going during breaks when new shows aren't airing. The difficult part is catching up when I run out of DVDs and a current season of a show is still airing (meaning there are episodes I've missed with no legal way to watch them). Burn Notice is currently problematic for this reason.

I think my Thursday 9:00 time slot was full on the DVR.  HAHA. That and it's just not the same without William Peterson, even though I do like Lawrence Fishburne.

Looks like one of the two shows I watch will be on hold because they accidentally shot a cannonball into a neighborhood.

That previous statement is so awesome that you should be embarrassed for whatever sissy shows you watch which have not caused mass property destruction.

(This is after the "blow your socks off" episode broke window panes and set off car alarms in a neighboring town).

That's a better reason for a show to go on hiatus than the network freaking out about middling ratings. I should have known Community was too brilliant to last.

Since my exchange with Wildcat last year about crime shows, I think I've become the crime show addict. Hawaii Five-0 is one of my favorite shows now, and I've also picked up Castle and Person of Interest.

Lately, I've been hitting "Breaking Bad" very hard, which just has to be one of the best shows on television.
